T-Mobile does it right with T-Mobile Tuesdays. Starting in 2016, T-Mobile created T-Mobile Tuesdays, an ongoing rewards program for the millions of T-Mobile customers. Through a first-of-its-kind collaboration, BookShout and T-Mobile leverage technology to offer loyal customers a free eBook on a cutting-edge platform.
The BookShout Solution
BookShout has joined the T-Mobile Tuesdays project for ongoing loyalty promotions. To date, the program has been a wild success. On each occasion, T-Mobile customers were given the option to choose an eBook as a reward through the T-Mobile Tuesdays app and loyalty program. The first reward campaign offered the popular cooking eBook, Claudia’s Cocina: A Taste of Mexico by MasterChef season six winner Claudia Sandoval. This campaign experienced over 111,000 downloads in a single day.
The next reward campaign allowed T-Mobile customers to download a free eBook from a list of ten vacation eBooks published by HarperCollins. Because of BookShout’s end-to-end functionality, T-Mobile can track and measure user activity within each eBook— from code redemption through reading. 127,000 people redeemed this beach-themed offer.
The most recent campaign featured a crowd-pleasing mix of fiction, mystery & suspense, and lifestyle & home reads. 2.8 million eBook codes were distributed to T-Mobile Tuesdays participants who would choose from a selection of ten titles. As a result, over 19 million words were read by T-Mobile Tuesday customers on their favorite devices in just 24 hours.
Engagement Continues to Rise for T-Mobile Tuesdays
Most noteworthy is the engagement. The top reading day amassed over 97,000,000 words read by T-Mobile customers. This allows T-Mobile to see that people are not only redeeming the offer but also actively enjoying the gift. BookShout was the top e-reading app in the iOS store on each T-Mobile Tuesdays campaign release day.
