Requirements: Build, support and maintain an eBook store for the noted SXSW technology conference.

South-By-Southwest (SXSW) is an ionic conference and festival in Austin, TX. They were in need of a digital content distribution solution that would allow them to curate books from authors associated with the event, deliver them in a variety of creative ways (from social posts to text-to-buy) all while maintaining brand identity. Working with over 5,000 publishers, BookShout was able to step in and fulfill all these event marketing objectives and more.

BookShout created a branded store that allowed any buyer—either at the event or online—to visit the store and buy the eBook of his/her choice.  BookShout also built 11 additional micro-stores, which coordinated with different strategic events throughout the week. Each micro-store contained between five and 15 eBooks from dozens of publishers.

BookShout handled the digital marketing, sales, and distribution of eBooks at SXSW 2015 and was the official SXSW eBook channel.
